VPN stands for Virtual Private Network. It allows you to connect your computer to a private network like the one at your office, using any internet connection. This will then allow your pc to use any of the resources you have on your work network, such as:
1. The file server (E-Common)
2. Employee self service and Leave management tool (ESS)
3. Work Apps (Sage, Datastore and Libwin etc..)
How to install:
1. Go to the Windows Store from the start menu.
2. Search for Sonicwall Mobile Connect and click Install
NB: If prompted to sign in to the store kindly click on cancel, the download will follow
How to connect:
1. Click on VPN setting from the start menu or the VPN name in the WiFi list on the notification tab
2. Click on connect
Credentials:
Username: The usernames will be the same one that you use at work, usually in this format "name.surname"
Password: This is the same as your work profile password.
Server: https://41.162.0.243:4433
Sign-in and password errors:
1. Click VPN settings from the start menu
2. Click advanced options
3. Click clear sign-in info
This will allow you to update your password if it changes.
